NQAQSR-North America Origin Validation Services has recently been developed in response to the proliferation of increasingly complex origin determination requirements, especially for trade in sensitive products (such as metals, textiles and garments) and preferential trading arrangements. Currently, certificates of origin are issued on the basis of limited supporting evidence, which increases the possibilities of fraud.
 NQAQSR-North America brings to origin confirmation the ability to investigate the actual origin of imported goods through compilation of appropriate documentary evidence and physical verification of the production process at the producers facilities. NQAQSR-North America can also assess the capability of the producer to manufacture the declared quantities.
The NQAQSR-North Origin Validation Service America verified origin can be requested by governments and/or exporters/importers. NQAQSR-North America verified origin provides greater assurance to the government that customs revenues and local market conditions are not compromised by false or non-complying declaration of origin.
