As part of the Supply Chain, Supply Chain Audits are performed to assess suppliers to the project. NQAQSR-North America offers extensive expertise to clients who wish to evaluate their key suppliers. This service involves a technical audit being carried out at vendor / suppliers to establish their ability to undertake a specific order against client's requirements, or their own accepted proposals. Services range from single visits to operating complete vendor appraisals and control schemes.
The object of the service is to establish the manufacturers ability to design and produce according to the clients requirements, which can be legal or normative. The Supply Chain Audit can either follow a checklist provided by the client or one prepared by NQAQSR-North America. The audit may include a review of the design, manufacturing and quality program, as well as the input control, production control points and final product acceptance testing steps. The manufacturers equipment use and calibration may also be part of the scope of the supply chain audit.
